We are super excited to featured on MySpace this week! Over 1,600 people heard our music yesterday and that is pretty damn cool. We decided to put the entire EP up for this week only so people can listen to the whole thing for free!

We are getting ready for the Eagle Rock Music Festival and Hotel Cafe (Oct. 3 and 8)...

PS: Saw LOCAL NATIVES @ Spaceland last night for the last night of their residency...what a fun show! Love the Talking Heads cover.

A great August!!

This has been a great month so far. Since I returned from South Carolina, Doug and I signed our songwriting contract for “Big Love.” They officially used our song “Everyday” for Ben’s band! That’s the good news. Bad news is they decided to only have boys in the band, meaning I won’t actually be ON the show...but don’t worry...you will definitely see Doug, Paul, and Mike! Shannon’s replacement on drums is Thomas Carroll from the band Elizabethan Report. He did a great job! Check out the last video on our video page to see their ridiculous costumes for the casino scene.

In other news, we played our first show at Spaceland - one of our favorite venues! It was a lot of fun and great to have all the boys from Tandemoro on stage with us for the first time. Kevin Bronson from Buzzbands came to see us as did my aunt from South Carolina as a total surprise!! Thanks to the HELL YA! girls for putting the night on. We will be doing another show for them soon! Check out the new pictures!

We don’t have anymore shows until October, but they are good ones: The Eagle Rock Music Festival on October 3rd - it’s a Saturday and we play a short set at 6pm! The following Thursday we will grace the Hotel Cafe stage at 11pm (Oct. 8th)! And guess who is joining us?? DENNIS HAMM who recorded the piano on our album! We are thrilled to have him for both of those shows.

Heading back to LALA

After a month of being in South Carolina, I am finally headed back to LA! We are beginning rehearsals for both “Big Love” and our next show....we have new songs for you! And check out our newly re-modeled MySpace page. It looks great thanks to Mr. Andrew Craig! :)

We also just added another acoustic night at El Cid October 19th (10pm)...

El Cid, SC, and BIG news!

June was a very exciting month for us! The album was released on ITunes, we had a great show at El Cid (Thanks to everyone who came out and picked up an album), and we left L.A. and headed to the Carolina coast!

In S.C., we had one day of PR - “Machine of Love” was played on 98.5 in Columbia, SC which was very exciting for us! We also appeared on WLTX’s “Friends at Five,” which you can check out in the video section of our site! Darci Strickland rocks! :)

In other news, Doug and I wrote a song for the first episode of the fourth season of HBO’s “Big Love!!” Details to come...but basically Doug’s character Ben is going to have a Christian rock band on the show this season and I am going to be in it! How cool, right?! So we wrote a Christian rock song while in S.C. called “Everyday.” I cannot wait for you to hear it and see us when the show premieres in January 2010.

I am in SC until August, while Doug is on a 10 day road trip to MOUNT RUSHMORE right now! Wish us luck in our travels!! Can’t wait for our Spaceland show August 16th and the Eagle Rock Music Festival in October.
